This hot Saturday afternoon saw 47 members, floral enthusiasts and friends gathering together to enjoy a spicy lunch spread and watching a floral showcase presented by senior members Rona Ee AIFD and Zoe Ong AIFD. Smiles and oohs … were heard as designs using hats. coconuts and tree trunks were rolled out – reminiscent of a day by the beach. The hands-on session got everyone excited as they crafted their personal handheld fan and embellished it with foliage and cheerful flowers. One lucky attendee walked away with the 2- day workshop by Hitomi Gilliam, generously sponsored by RiFA.
