A wonderful long weekend spent in Bandung by members and their family. Joining the Singapore entourage were Lily Sutanto from Jakarta; and from Bandung Winny Hernawaty and Okky Rantow who are members of the Indonesia Floral Arrangers Association. Special thanks to our Indonesia friends who ensured all a marvellous treat of local snacks, fruits and
Sudanese cuisine. The program was tightly filled with visits to a cacti and succulent nursery and Tangkuban Perahu (an active volcano crater); watching and participating in Anklung performance and intense bargain-shopping. The highlight was a treasure hunt held right in the crowds of a supermarket at a shopping mall. Lily Sutanto also demonstrated several
techniques of manipulating coconut leaves into various forms during the Sunday breakfast.
Everyone enjoyed this brief escapade tremendously especially the great company and friendship!
