Fort Canning Park
The sun was smiling and we were off for a Spice Garden tour at Fort Canning – a place full of the richness of Singapore’s history. Thanks to NPks guides Margaret and Mr Wong who led the tour and enlightened us about the many uses and benefits of spices right under our noses. It was a treat and bewilderment to see the plants from which the spices like nutmeg
and cloves grew from. A sumptuous pot luck awaited us at the end of the walk followed by an outdoor demonstration on flowers, spice and all things nice. In summary, floral passion and friends add the spice in our life!
