It has been a whirlwind of ‘All Things Edibles’ as FDSS geared up for the ‘Designing with Edibles’ Competition in conjunction with the Community Garden Festival 2017. Our workshop held on 15 October 2017 at Ritz Carlton Millenia brought the attendees into another whole new world of creating bouquets – this time with an assortment of bread, wine, pretzels, pasta, fruits and vegetables. FDSS Secretariat Niar Jacklowsky demonstrated the how-to’s and showcased 3 bouquets with the themes ‘Dinner for 2’ – complete with a bottle of wine!, ‘Chinese Stir Fry’ and ‘Healthy Breakfast’. Each attendee had fun creating their own edible bouquet to bring home.
